The Family Mediation Trust is looking for an intern to help deliver its message to separated families.

The Trust has set out on a journey to increase the understanding of mediation for separating families across the East of England. To do this, we need to use a range of marketing tools such as; social media, newsletters, google ads and our website.

We are looking for an intern to work flexibly with the Trust's CEO, Michael Mack, to implement its marketing strategy. The intern will also be integral with the deployment of new service lines to the Trust.

In return, the Trust will ensure the successful candidate will gain real life experience in a range of marketing activities and tools.

We are seeking a candidate who is interested in marketing and would like to add value to their CV in this area. The successful candidate will already understand how tools such as Twitter, Linked-In and Instagram work but would like real life experience in their management and deployment.

The successful candidate must be comfortable in creating content and have a high level of English to ensure accuracy. This post is ideally suited to either a graduate or final year student in marketing or other aligned courses.

This is not itself a paid position and the post is remote and has no set hours. Tasks will be agreed with the CEO and deadlines managed in-line with these agreements. The candidate will be expected to have access to their own PC/laptop and a secure, quite place to work.


The trust has successfully supported other individuals through this intern position. The last candidate undertook the role for a period of 4 months, during which time they created blogs, drafted large areas of the website and managed the organisation's social media accounts. Following the post they went on to secure a marketing executive role in the aviation sector.
