Description

This is a 5-hour CPD course, that highlights why it is sometimes difficult for mediators to make sense of the emotional dialogue and conflict that can emanate in mediation.

The presentation will flag useful theoretical concepts that may explain why clients get stuck, exhibit great distress or continue the cycle of conflict.

There will be case examples linked to these theories; outlining how mediators can adjust their interventions, adapt their mediation model and the mediation style.

Adrian will also highlight certain visual material that he uses in all cases of high conflict - to assist the clients in their understanding of themselves and each other, to help in developing agreements.

This course is run by Adrian Wright, accredited family mediator, supervisor and former trainer with the FMA and Resolution, now running current training through the College of Mediators. Focussing much of the last 20 years' training and developing mediators and supervisors, Adrian has vast experience of being a leading trainer.

The course will be run via Zoom. The link to the course will be emailed to you after the payment process is complete.
