Legal Aid assessments for family mediation can be a challenging process for new mediators, administrators and experienced mediators. This course will provide a full overview of the processes of legal aid and explore many of the common pitfalls that services can fall into.
Getting legal aid assessments right every time is not easy, and it’s a constant worry for contract holders. The Family Mediation Trust has held a Legal Aid contract since its founding in the early 1980s. Drawing on his extensive experience, the service’s PPC, Craig Brooks, will deliver this 3-hour course to help participants build confidence in the core elements of assessment, as well as understand some of the more complex areas.
