Denise Ingamells joins the Family Mediation Trust as an accomplished Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) with over two decades of experience in family mediation. Accredited by the Family Mediation Council in 2002 and qualified as a PPC in 2005, Denise is also trained in Child Inclusive Mediation, highlighting her commitment to ensuring children's voices are heard during mediation.
Denise is the main author of the Separated Parents Information Programme (SPIP), which has been delivered to around 250,000 people across the UK. She personally delivered the program to over 9,000 individuals and has developed training for various national organizations.
Her contributions to the field have earned her numerous accolades, including Resolution’s John Cornwell Award in 2022, Alternative Dispute Resolution Practitioner of the Year by Jordans’ Family Law in 2012, and the Avril Reid Award for Innovation in Mediation in 2007.
Denise also serves on Resolution’s Parenting after Parting, Wellbeing, & Dispute Resolution committees, and is also an advisor to the National Association of Separated Parent Programmes. While she will not be delivering mediation directly, her role as PPC will be crucial in mentoring and supporting the mediation team, ensuring the Trust maintains its high standards in family mediation.
