His experience during this time enables him to bring a fresh look to the organisation and the sector.

Mike is also very active supporting Norfolk charities and organisations. For 13 years he has been a magistrate in Norwich. He has chaired mini rugby at North Walsham Rugby club and is a Trustee of the Otter Trust. Along side this role Michael runs his own consultancy business as The Rural Consultant.

"NFMS is an exciting opportunity, its a small charity with massive potential. Humans have the ability to disagree and it takes a steady hand to help bring their views together. My role is to make sure that the team have the skills, support and resources they need to provide this support to all families across Norfolk."
