Lansley Hough

On the 28th of June the service said a final farewell to one of its hardest working mediators. Lansley passed away on the 30th May following a hard fought battle with cancer.

Lansley worked for the service for over 15 years. During this time she became a recognised expert in supporting over 1,600 families through mediation. In each case, she managed to bring a positive approach to each and every situation.

However, it was not just Lansley's ability to support clients which we thank her for, she could always be relied on to step in to help when required, whether it was filling-in for other mediators or going that extra mile for a client.

It was these skills and a passion for helping people, that made Lansley a great mentor to many of the trainee mediators that have come through the service during this time.

Our long serving administrator, Jayne, summed up Lansle'sy impact to the service with a few words;

"Having worked alongside Lansley for her whole career at Norfolk Family Mediation it was always clear that she had a passion not only for the service but also for the clients. She was a an exceptional mediator who showed a professional approach from her first day to her last at the service.

I will miss her 'home grown' plants which she brought into the service every Christmas for the staff."
