Commitment to Legal Aid Mediation

Over recent weeks, it has become apparent that the number of local providers of legal aided mediation in Norfolk has reduced with Norfolk Family Mediation now becoming the only local provider in Norwich. 

As a charity we are focused on ensuring mediation is an option for all families when going through a separation. Legal aid is a key tool for many families in this situation. 

Legal aid is available to those on a very low income and/or be on a range of benefits such as; Universal Credit. For eligible cases, not only does the eligible individual benefit from a free assessment meeting and on-going mediation sessions, but their ex-partner also receives a free assessment meeting and a free first mediation session.
