Description

This course has been designed to give you, as a grandparent, the information you need to help and support your child as they go through their divorce or separation. The course will run through the key stages of a separation, the decisions that will need to be made and how different people and organisations can help. The course will also look at your role in supporting the process and how this will affect grandchildren.

The course will combine presentations, open questions and open discussion time to enable a small group (no more than 6 people) to explore each of the following topics:

  • Key separation questions.
  • Court, mediation or DIY - which option is best?
  • Key legal information regarding children and money.
  • Costs and timescales.
  • Focusing on the grandchild.

The course runs for approximately 1 hour - and is delivered online by one of our expert mediators.
